Mursal Ahmed Hassan is a Somali media and political communications professional serving as the Spokesperson and Director of Communication and Public Relations of the Gaashaan Party. He is responsible for managing the party’s official messaging, media relations, and overall communication strategy.

He was born on 01 January 1997 in Dharkeynley District, Mogadishu, Somalia. From an early age, he showed strong interest in media, communication, and public affairs, which led him into a professional career in journalism, public relations, and political communication.

Education

Mursal Ahmed Hassan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Mogadishu University, where he gained strong skills in digital systems and communication technologies.

He also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations & Political Science from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, strengthening his understanding of global politics, diplomacy, and governance.
