About the Party – Gaashaan Party
Gaashaan Party is the first political party officially announced in the Northeastern Federal Member State of Somalia (formerly known as SSC/Khaatumo) following its recognition by the Federal Government of Somalia. Since its establishment, Gaashaan Party has been dedicated to the defense of our faith, the people, and the nation, striving to promote unity, justice, and good governance.

Our History
Gaashaan Party was founded after the Federal Government of Somalia recognized the Northeastern region as a legitimate federal member state. Being the first political party in the area, the party has positioned itself as a pioneer in promoting democratic principles, civic participation, and accountable leadership. The foundation of the party is rooted in defending the nation’s values, including respect for our faithful religion, protection of human rights, and service to the Somali people.
