The Chairman of Gaashaan Party, H.E. Deeq Abdi Aziz Mohamed, paid a courtesy visit to the residence in Mogadishu of Ugaas Cabdirisaaq Ugaas Cabdullaahi Ugaas Xaashi Ugaas Faracade, the Supreme Traditional Leader of the Murursade Clan.
The visit was a gesture of respect and engagement, during which the Chairman and the Ugaas discussed key national issues, including the role of traditional leadership in promoting unity, peace, and social cohesion in Somalia.
During the meeting, H.E. Deeq Abdi Aziz Mohamed stated:
“I paid a courtesy visit to the Ugaas to convey my greetings and congratulations, and to commend him for the noble and distinguished role he plays in serving the community.”
The Chairman also expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and praised the vital role of traditional leaders in maintaining stability and guiding communities.
In response, the Ugaas welcomed the visit and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between political leaders and traditional authorities for the development and unity of the nation.
