The Chairman of Gaashaan Party, H.E. Deeq Abdi Aziz Mohamed, paid an official visit to the Embassy of Somalia in Switzerland during his working trip to the country.
Upon his arrival, the Chairman was warmly received by senior officials of the Somali Embassy, led by the Ambassador of Somalia to Switzerland and Austria, who also serves as the Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva.
The visit was also attended by key members of the embassy, including the Consul, the Secretary of the Embassy, and the Chairman of the Somali Community in Zurich, Switzerland, Mr. Said Ali Xidig.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between political stakeholders and the Somali diaspora, as well as enhancing unity, development, and engagement with Somali communities abroad.
H.E. Deeq Abdi Aziz Mohamed expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and highlighted the importance of collaboration between national institutions and diaspora communities in advancing Somalia’s development and political stability.
The visit reflects Gaashaan Party’s commitment to building strong relationships with Somali diplomatic missions and communities worldwide.
